Sprung on Rung!

If you could simultaneously find one-of-a-kind pieces, save money, promote sustainability and support a great non-profit organization, would you? Although many wouldn’t dispute the benefits of shopping resale, some simply won’t do it. They complain about the smell, disorganization, rude staff and size limitations. I hear over and over, “I can’t find anything in those stores!”

Now Raegan loves a good bargain hunt, but I know everyone doesn’t have the same patience. So I have a solution for my lady bargainistas who want the typical retail experience without the typical retail prices – Rung Boutique.

Rung Boutique is located at 9741 Manchester Rd., St. Louis, MO 63119. Walk through the doors and let your upscale resale experience begin.  My label lovers, Rung showcases designer brands like Marc Jacobs, Gucci and even Valentino.

And the decorum…seriously, it isn’t called a boutique for nothing. The store is brilliantly designed, thoroughly organized by product type and sizes (from petite to plus size), and the customer service is top-notch. The employees do a great job of making you feel like you’re the only one in the store. I felt like I was having a real personal shopping moment. By the way, the store actually offers personal shopping and the fee you pay goes toward your purchase which makes it…FREE!

Another cool thing about Rung is its Guest Seller program which allows local artists to showcase goods in the store. It supports local talent!

Rung also supports mothers and children. My bargain mommies, Rung has clothing for kids too. No need to make a separate stop to shop for the kiddos. Also, a significant portion of what you spend goes toward the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis and Nurses for Newborns.

Rung’s prices are a little higher than your average thrift store, but so is the shopping experience. Now, I know it’s difficult for some of my fellow bargainistas to let go of those $3, $5 Goodwill price points. Don’t worry; Rung has great sales and even happy hour specials. You can also donate items on their wish list to receive special discounts. Join their mailing list and follow them on social media to get deets on deals.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the best part; I fell in love at Rung. Yes, I and this COS pink, pleated shirt dress locked eyes and decided we would leave together. It’s sold out on the COS site, in perfect condition, and only cost $40 (retails for $133).

So go ahead, and pop into Rung. On March 31, select items will be marked as low as $1. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tell them Raegan sent you and go get sprung on Rung!
